Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Test/Service Technician to manage complex maintenance tasks, upgrades to existing equipment, and installation of new HVAC systems. The role also includes supporting engineering teams, documenting test results, and occasionally training customers on equipment use and upgraded capabilities. This is a hands-on position ideal for a technician with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, fabricate, and modify testing apparatus for commercial HVAC equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical modifications to HVAC units and components. Execute performance and certification testing based on

ASHRAE / UL

standards. Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot test equipment and HVAC systems. Accurately record and document test data using Microsoft Office and internal data systems. Collaborate with engineers to review test procedures and evaluate results. Assist with customer training and technical support as needed. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of HVAC or maintenance experience (education may be considered in lieu of experience) Must obtain EPA 608 refrigerant certification within 60 days of hire (self-sponsored)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC components Proficiency in brazing and working with pressurized gases Experience with 3-phase electrical wiring and combustible gas systems Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed procedures and technical documentation Excellent time management and multitasking skills Proven track record of safety compliance
