Job Description
Field Service Technician – General Repairs & Maintenance Legacy Laundry, Inc. Geneva, NY 14456 We’re seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll perform general repairs and routine maintenance on small-chassis commercial laundry equipment across our Rochester / Syracuse New York territory, helping to ensure reliable operation for our customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and interacting with clients in the field. If you have experience in general maintenance, strong mechanical skills, and a knack for customer service, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Perform general repairs and routine maintenance on commercial laundry equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and operational issues Conduct quality checks and clean machines during service visits Maintain accurate service logs using our maintenance software Keep service vehicle stocked and organized with essential parts and tools Assist with warehouse and parts handling at our local office as needed Help with equipment deliveries (pickup truck/trailer experience valued) Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance, repair, or related field Solid mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Basic computer literacy for service documentation Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Pickup truck/trailer handling experience is a plus What We Offer Company vehicle and gas card for work use Paid training and ongoing support Monday-Friday daytime schedule with limited weekend work A growing company with a friendly and professional work environment Please note: We are currently hiring for our Rochester / Syracuse, New York territory only. .Only qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews.
