Facility Maintenance Technician Position Available In Queens, New York

Facility Maintenance Technician Mi Nuevo Mundo Woodside, NY 11377 Mi Nuevo Mundo is a pioneering childcare center that has been serving the community for 29 years, offering a love and culture-based education for children ages 2 to 5. Our commitment to providing exceptional bilingual education has made us an integral part of the local community, continually expanding our programs to meet the needs of families. We offer both a private and public based programs. Summary This position entails the general maintenance of the facility; which is an essential part of our day-to-day functions for hygienic, structural and aesthetic standards. Responsibilities

• General repairs (drywall, painting, fixtures, flooring)
• Light plumbing (unclog drains, fix leaks)
• Light electrical: replace (switches, outlets, bulbs) & depending on exp (fixtures)
• HVAC filter changes & leaks
• Indoor/Outdoor/Basement/Storage premises and equipment upkeep
• Snow or Leaf removal (seasonal)
• Daily safety inspections
• Trash/recycling, occasional janitorial support
• Emergency repairs
• Opportunities outside of general maintenance duties from Mon
• Fri will be given and paid for differently.

Details will be discussed depending on the interview. Requirements Must have legitimate documentation (social security, license etc…) Preferably speaks English and Spanish Fingerprints and screenings will be required

$20.00 / $25.00 / $30 per hour
