Lawn & Facilities Maintenance Position Available In St. Lawrence, New York

Lawn & Facilities Maintenance Gristmill Brewery & Restaurant 38 Water Street, Massena, NY 13662 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance & Lawncare Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and excellent customer service skills to effectively address maintenance needs. Duties Mow lawns, weed, trim, water and care for plantings Deep clean, sweep, mop of interior and exterior flooring Wash windows and lights. Maintain a slip-free walking area including shoveling and salting of walk areas and parking lots. Paint or stain walls, trim Maintain inventories and neat, organized storage areas Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot, repair or escalate for professional repair for plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems as needed. Utilize manual or computer systems to track maintenance activities and manage work orders including before and after photos. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications Prior ability to troubleshoot and fix simple repair issues. Prior lawn and snow removal experience preferred. Carpentry experience preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred but not required.
