Machine Maintenance Technician 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Lehighton, PA 18235 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance on equipment and facilities at our clients Lehighton plant. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, ensuring safe operations, and supporting the ongoing evolution of our processes, systems, and facility infrastructure.

MONDAY-THURSDAY 6AM-3
30PM, FRIDAY 7AM-11AM 2nd
SHIFT:
MONDAY-THURSDAY 3
30PM-12AM, FRIDAY 8AM-12PM Key Responsibilities Inspect equipment, buildings, and grounds to identify current or potential maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) per established schedules to ensure equipment reliability. Assist with machinery and facility repairs, installations, and changeovers. Work closely with machine and forklift operators to minimize repair time and operational disruption. Maintain detailed records of all PM activities, equipment status, and parts usage. Ensure a safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant work environment. Train operators on machine changeover procedures and proper use. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude is essential. 3+ years of maintenance experience (preferred), especially with: Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems Welding experience (preferred, not required) Manufacturing or pallet shop experience (a plus) Ability to: Troubleshoot and resolve practical problems efficiently Work well independently and as part of a team Communicate effectively with management and peers Meet deadlines and hold others accountable
