Hourly, Non-exempt Pay Range (Based on qualifications and experience): $20.00 – $25.00/hour $1.00/hour Shift Differential for 2nd shift. Must be able to train on dayshift for 1 – 2 months prior to transitioning to back shift. Eligibility for benefits upon satisfactory completion of 60 days of employment. Summary:
Assist in repairs and general maintenance of machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems for Bluewater Thermal Solutions – Saint Marys. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Wear job specific PPE’s when/where required (i.e.; safety glasses, safetytoe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.;). Install or dismantle machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms. Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings. Replaces or repairs machine belts. Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines. Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion. Bends and cuts conduit and wire, and drills holes in walls, floors, and ceilings for electrical connections. Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape. Bends, cuts, and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound. Cuts out and joins parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings. Patches or replaces plaster or plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building. Clears clogged drains, and replaces plumbing fixtures. Operates welding machine to repair or join metal parts. Cleans work area, tools, and equipment. Daily upkeep including maintaining quench oil, smog hog cells and housekeeping Attend and actively participate in OSHA required safety trainings. Job specific items include LOTO, Confined Spaces, and Machine Guarding. Must be willing to work in a teamoriented environment. Perform any duties not listed when assigned by supervisor.
