Apartment Maintenance Technician Lancaster PA Horst Residential 150 Ashlea Gardens, New Holland, PA 17557 Job description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position requires a rotating schedule between three apartment communities located in New Holland, Manheim & Marietta. The ideal maintenance technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining our communities and providing exceptional customer service. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, appliances and other mechanical systems. Drywall repair / installation, Finish Work, Carpentry Complete Resident work order requests accurately and efficiently. Document work completed on work order request. Strong record keeping skills necessary Provide exceptional customer service to our Residents Perform all duties required to ready the apartment home for the next resident Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to operations. Requirements Proven experience in apartment / facilities maintenance or a related field. Must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation; Covering evenings, weekends and holidays. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers. Must be a team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work closely with Property Managers Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of residential painting techniques Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
