Job Description
POSITION
OVERVIEWdormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Seattle, WA. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
HOURLY HIRING RANGE
$38.13/hr – $45/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package. WHAT YOU WILL
DOInstall dormakaba equipment in commercial buildingsPerform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented mannerWHAT WE REQUIREValid current driver’s licenseMechanical knowledge, 3+ years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of mechanical and electrical equipmentPhysical requirements, including ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overheadWHAT WE PREFERElectrical license (EL 10 Electrical License) or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technicianAAADM certificationWHAT WE OFFERTaking Care of our employees on day one with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
