Charleston, SC Southeastern Garage Doors, Inc. is seeking a residential garage door and opener installer for a full time position. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Have current valid drivers license and GOOD current driving record. Competitive pay based on experience. Needs to be mechanically inclined. Able to work independently and with others. Mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate appropriate door and installation/technician/ service requirements for each job. Prior to commencement of work, determine if appropriate tools and equipment are working and/or available. Installation of garage door according to instructions. Determine if added work needs to be performed and the measures needed to assure approved installation of product. Alterations, construction modifications and obstructions must be noted before each job is to begin. Documentation of the work to be performed is discussed with the Salesperson and/or Scheduling Supervisor for approval. Install manufactured residential garage door operators. Perform installation on a wide range of products, including hinges, operators, door sections, torsion springs, locks, etc. Care and maintenance of equipment and tools provided. Maintain appropriate parts inventory in the vehicle to ensure that items are available for service/installation work. We offer full medical and dental insurance, 401K, paid vacations and holidays.
