Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

Pay:

Competitive pay with an additional $1.00/hour shift differential

Shift Available:

2nd

Shift:

5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Must be flexible to support production)

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure operational uptime. Conduct safety audits, perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain maintenance records. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment. Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and environmental programs (including

ISO14001

). Order parts, manage spare inventory, and ensure contractor safety compliance.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required. 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience is required. Automotive Tier 1 experience is a must-have. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, PLC/PC systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Must possess effective communication and teamwork skills. Valid Driver’s License is required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods. Maintain alertness and proper vision to perform tasks safely. Why Zing?
