Day Shift Maintenance Technician Position Available In Caledonia, Vermont

Job Description:

Gpac is working with a growing award-winning food manufacturerin Central Vermont that is seeking a Maintenance Technician! Thiscompany has been in business for 35 years plus and is growing,dedicated to providing the highest quality products on the marketand outstanding customer service. In this role you would beresponsible for the repairs and maintenance of machinery andmechanical equipment with a special emphasis on production linesand processing equipment.

Essential Job Functions:

Able to adjustmachines to maximize uptime. Perform preventative maintenanceaccording to company guidelines. Provide technical support forproduction equipment to ensure that lines are always in operation.

Perform technical problem solving and troubleshooting for allequipment and processes. Perform machine setup and machine teardowns. Aid startup process to ensure equipment is operatingcorrectly Maintain and follow GMP’s, Food safety, HACCP, and FDArequirements. Compliance with SOV’s Safety, Food Safety, Qualitysystems, SOP’s, GMP’s and policies. Provide coverage to supportteam members. Ability to work cross functionally to achieveoutstanding results. Ability to make appropriate decisionsregarding resource utilization and needs. Other activities asassigned.

Qualifications:

Industrial maintenance experiencepreferred, preferably within a manufacturing facility Provenability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines.

Manufacturing experience including electrical and computerprograming knowledge. The ideal Maintenance Technician would besomeone very quick on their feet and have strong mechanical,electrical and computer programming knowledge within manufacturing.

Shift Hours:

7am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Bonuses given twicea year, on top of hourly wage.
