⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Fiber Optic Construction Southern Fiber Group compensation: Negotiable employment type: experience level: no experience required job title: General Labor – Fiber Installation We are looking for a reliable laborer to assist our fiber blowing crew with the installation of fiber optic cables and MSTs (Multiport Service Terminals). This is a hands-on outdoor job that requires physical strength, teamwork, and responsibility. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to meet at the crew’s departure location. Travel across Louisiana is part of the job, and overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up and operating fiber blowing equipment
• Help install MSTs and pull fiber through conduits
• Load/unload tools and materials
• Follow safety protocols at all times
• Drive company vehicle when needed
• Support crew with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Reliable transportation to base location
• Willingness to travel throughout Louisiana
• Ability to stay overnight when needed
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet all day
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn

ÓN EN ESPAÑOL Estamos buscando un ayudante responsable para apoyar a nuestro equipo de instalación de fibra óptica, específicamente en trabajos de sopleteo de fibra y colocación de MSTs (terminales de servicio multipuerto). Es un trabajo físico al aire libre, ideal para personas con buena actitud y ganas de aprender. Se requiere licencia de conducir vigente y transporte confiable para llegar al punto de salida. El trabajo incluye viajes por todo Luisiana y puede requerir quedarse a dormir fuera de casa algunas noches.

Responsabilidades:

• Ayudar a preparar y operar el equipo de sopleteo de fibra
• Instalar MSTs y jalar fibra a través de ductos
• Cargar y descargar herramientas y materiales
• Seguir las normas de seguridad en todo momento
• Conducir vehículo de la empresa cuando se requiera
• Apoyar al equipo con otras tareas relacionadas

Requisitos:

• Licencia de conducir vigente (obligatorio)
• Transporte confiable para llegar al punto de salida
