As a seasonedmechanic, you know what it is like to work in a shop, but usingyour skills at Disney is a completely unique experience. The Area Fleet B Mechanic is responsible for keeping our bus fleetin full repair so that our Guests get where they need to go ontime, comfortably, and safely. Our first-class shops putefficiency, productivity and concern for the safety of ourmechanics front-and-center, with state-of-the-art lifts andequipment, excellent ventilation — even awnings to keep the sunoff your back. This is a field service position that may includework from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout theWalt Disney World Parks and Resort property. The pay rate for the Area Mechanic role in Florida is $23.76 perhour. The pay rate for the Fleet B Mechanic role in Florida is $28.45 perhour. Basic Qualifications :
Valid Florida CDL Class A or B driver’s license with passengerendorsement or the ability to obtain Permit by the time ofhire Ability to obtain and maintain Medium/Heavy Truck T4 or TransitBus H4 heavy duty brake ASE certification within 90 days of hire Maintain ASE credentials Possess a
EPA MVAC 609
Air Conditioning certification Minimum of 4 years’ experience performing maintenance andrepairs on over the road coaches or semi-heavy duty truck Minimum of 4 years’ experience as Diesel Tech/Mechanic Possess the ability to interpret schematics Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobileelectronic devices
