Responsibilities Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
Interprets diagnostic test results accurately Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans
Generates estimate for needed repairs Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
Uses power, machine, and hand tool safely
Follows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards Qualifications 3+ years of Diesel Technician experience required
A level qualification, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Basic Computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Team player
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
