Diesel Technician Supervisor Position Available In Westchester, New York

Diesel Technician Supervisor Confidential 14 Fisher Lane, White Plains, NY 10603 We are currently seeking a Diesel Technician Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our vehicle maintenance facility. This position is responsible for supervising a team of technicians, ensuring vehicles are serviced safely and efficiently, and maintaining compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

Wage:

Up to 120,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, electrical, and more Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs Manage parts inventory and ensure proper use of maintenance tracking systems Monitor compliance with all DOT and safety regulations Communicate effectively with local operations staff (drivers, dispatch, etc.) Maintain accurate records of repairs and service Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience supervising maintenance in a diesel shop (heavy/medium duty) At least 5 years of hands-on Auto / Truck or Bus repair experience Experience with Compliance with the local applicable DOT compliance of Med / Heavy Trucks Experience using maintenance software and diagnostics tools Strong decision-making and planning skills Budget management and purchasing experience ASE certifications preferred but not required Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed
