2+ years preferred, but not required About the Role We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman Technician to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to residential and commercial clients throughout our service area (mainly Cumberland and Dauphin Counties). Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall work Diagnose problems and provide effective solutions for clients Install fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed Conduct routine maintenance inspections and preventive care Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Communicate professionally with clients to explain repairs and recommendations Ensure all work meets safety standards and local building codes Manage inventory of tools and basic supplies in company vehicle Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in handyman services, maintenance, or related trades Proficiency with common hand and power tools Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in various physical positions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Trade school certification or apprenticeship experience Knowledge of local building codes and permits Previous customer service experience Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) What We Offer Competitive hourly wage: $27-$32/hour based on experience Company vehicle and fuel provided Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Performance bonuses and advancement potential Flexible scheduling options Physical Requirements Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights Capability to work in various weather conditions Manual dexterity for detailed work and tool operation Good physical stamina for full workdays
