General information Job Title 4150 – MIA Appliance Technician Full Time Date Monday, May 12, 2025 City Miami State Florida Full/Part Time Full Time Exempt or Non-Exempt Position Non-Exempt Shift A.M. shift, Overnight shift, P.M. shift Requirements and Description ERMC has stations in more than 200 airports. We provide a full range of ground aviation services, from ticketing and ground handling to cabin cleaning and cargo. ERMC also provides operations and maintenance for terminals and support facilities in some of the world’s busiest airport locations.
Standard qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
- Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
- Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
- Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
- Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
- Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial and residential appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and HVAC units.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure appliances are safe and operating efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and airport policies.
- Coordinate with other maintenance and engineering teams to support facility operations. Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in appliance repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
