The Work
As a Facilities Technician, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the daily operations and long-term reliability of our HVAC and infrastructure systems.
You’ll be responsible for:
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) on all assigned HVAC assets to ensure peak energy efficiency and reduce downtime.
Using the Building Management System (BMS) to analyze system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
Providing day-to-day support for general facilities needs, including repairs, installations, and project support.
Managing the operation of critical infrastructure systems, including centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps, controls, and other HVAC equipment.
Please note:
This is a full-time role following a 4/10 work schedule—you’ll work 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day.

You’re a skilled and driven HVAC professional with:
5+ years of ercial/industrial HVAC experience.
A strong understanding of infrastructure cooling in critical environments.
The ability to self-manage and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in operating and maintaining lex systems including chillers, towers, pumps, and controls.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for optimizing system performance.

Desired skills
General construction, and fabrication skills.
Experience with Central Utility Plant operations, and experience with general facility maintenance support.
Familiarity with Data Center Operational Environment.
Good general uter skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel).
Knowledge of CMMS Software with ability to drive workload.
Effective oral & written unication skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, maintains a positive attitude, and willing to be a responsible & dedicated team player.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $58,300 – $102,810. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
