Air Conditioner Technician East Coast Minis Splits and Heat Pumps Pembroke, MA 02359 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure optimal performance of air conditioning units. Duties Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in various settings. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues within air conditioning units. Perform welding tasks as needed for system repairs or installations. Design and implement efficient air conditioning solutions tailored to client needs. Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly. Refrigerate and boil components as part of system maintenance or repair processes. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role in HVAC/R. Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other relevant equipment. Ability to weld and perform necessary repairs on HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with property maintenance practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Valid driver’s license may be required for field service duties.
