Position Overview:

As an HVAC Mechanic, you’ll work on the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This hands-on role is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service HVAC systems, including ductwork, pumps, motors, compressors, controls, and thermostats
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate tools
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Maintain job documentation and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members

Qualifications:

For experienced candidates:

• Completion of a certified HVAC apprenticeship program
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC construction and service
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and safety protocols For entry-level candidates:
• Recent completion of an accredited HVAC trade school program
• Strong foundational knowledge and eagerness to learn
• Willingness to train under experienced technicians

Additional Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces
