Job Summary:
The Journeyman Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.
Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities:
Responsibly follow all procedures & policies with regard to repairs & maintenance. Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner. Supports high performance in a professional healthcare & hospitality laundry environment through cleanliness and infection prevention. Works in conjunction with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency. Ability to trouble shoot any mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems Projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to: Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)
