oil & gas /assembler/ mechanical assembly/assembly testing/operator Amer Technology, Inc Patterson, LA 70392 The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Job Types:

Temp-to-hire, Contract Pay:

$18.00 – $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Morning shift Overtime Rotating weekends

Experience:

Oil & gas: 2 years (Required)

Assembly/subassembly:

2 years (Preferred) assembly operator/testing: 2 years (Preferred) Mechanical assembly: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver’s License (Required)
