Our client inRochester, NY is seeking a skilled and motivated IndustrialMaintenance Mechanic to keep their production floor running at fullspeed. Competitive pay ranging from $60,000 to $72,800annually , based on experience and technical expertise. In thishands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain themachinery and systems that keep operations moving—from CNCequipment and robotics to cranes, conveyors, and everything inbetween. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain PLCsystems on CNC machines and robotics. Work with 12V to 480V 3-phaseelectrical systems (Electrician License NOT required). Install,repair, and maintain electrical wiring and electronic components onequipment. Set up and repair industrial machinery, including drillpresses, grinders, welders, and more. Perform maintenance andrepair tasks on overhead cranes, conveyors, and automation systems.
Conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance on allfacility and equipment, including forklifts. Collaborate withoperators and supervisors to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues.
Available for overtime and on-call shifts as needed. Assist withplant maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, painting, and generalupkeep. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimizedisruptions in production.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience inelectrical, mechanical, and automated systems maintenance.
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Fanuc, HAAS programs), robotics,pneumatics, and hydraulics. Proficient in reading, math, andEnglish communication. Experience in a manufacturing or commercialsetting with hands-on technical skills. Able to operate hand andpower tools with expertise. Must be physically capable of liftingup to 50 pounds and working in a physically demanding environment.
Comfortable working in plant conditions (noise, temperaturevariations, and welding smoke).
Physical Demands:
Ability tolift/move up to 50 pounds as needed. Frequent standing, walking,stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Must wear required personalprotective equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, safety glasses, andsteel-toed boots.
