$35.1K – $41.6K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Carpentry Mid-level Plumbing HVAC 1 year Full Job Description Maintenance Assistant – Skilled Nursing Facility East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing 4360 Johnson Ferry Pl, Marietta, GA 30068 East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing, a 117-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in helping us maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-kept environment for our residents and staff. We’re looking for candidates with a hands-on background in general maintenance, carpentry, light electrical work, flooring installation , and preventive upkeep . Experience in plumbing and HVAC is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and light repairs throughout the facility Complete routine painting, patching, and wall repair work Assist with carpentry projects including installation and finish work Support tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC tasks Repair equipment and appliances as needed Monitor and report maintenance concerns proactively Perform preventive maintenance tasks and safety checks Handle other duties as assigned This is your opportunity to play a hands-on role in creating a clean, functional, and welcoming space for our residents.
