Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker Position Available In Essex, New York

Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker NewVida Preserve Wilmington, NY 12997 We are seeking experienced groundskeepers / maintenance workers to be part of a dynamic and talented team at NewVida Preserve (www.newvidapreserve.com), known formerly as Paleface. Our grounds include a historic lodge, a mountain house, several outbuildings and 2000 acres of incredible mountain countryside. Experience working as part of a groundskeeping/maintenance team in a hotel/hospitality business is strongly preferred. Though we do provide training onsite, some experience using equipment (tractors, plow trucks, mowers, chainsaws) strongly preferred. Experience in any of the trades (electric, plumbing, heating/cooling, carpentry) a huge plus. The job is full-time, ~40 hrs per week, Monday through Friday, 8-4pm.

Responsibilities include:

Basic repairs in guest areas Mowing and trail maintenance General systems maintenance

Qualifications:

Working experience in a groundskeeping/ maintenance role Experience handling common groundskeeping equipment Familiarity with carpentry and any trade skills a huge plus Ability to work effectively as part of a team Employees and their spouses get to access the services at NewVida, including wellness, trails and the gym for free!
