Summary The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role requires both mechanical and electrical skills, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on production ,machinery and support systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production calls. Install, align, and test new machinery or equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work logs. Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans. Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Support facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure repairs. Collaborate with production staff to identify and solve equipment issues. Recommend improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience and Education High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Requirements Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and controls a plus. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the shift. Work in varying temperature environments, including production floors and outdoor areas.
