NON Exempt Job Summary:

The Super Assistant will work closely with the building superintendent. The position requires a responsible individual that has specific working knowledge of building maintenance. Previous experience with supervising staff, working with vendors, and scheduling repairs- getting units prepared for going on-line. At least 2 years’ experience with building operations.

Duties:

A) Assist building superintendent in aspects of overseeing the physical plant of hotel, including, but not limited to, plumbing, boiler, water heater, sprinkler, alarms, elevator and basic electric B) In the absence of building superintendent at his/her direction, will report directly to the Site Director. C) Keep manager informed of emerging issues relating to concerns and needs of residents, staff matters, building issues, and respond to same, with of manager and at his/her direction. D) General repairs, preparing vacant units for occupancy, including painting and light patch up work E) Ensuring that all work orders are completed in timely fashion. F) Assisting renovations team or building Superintendent with higher-skill level repairs when directed. G) Attend all required trainings. H) Responsible for reporting inventory of supplies to Super I) Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

GED. 2 years Building maintenance experience.
