We’re hiring a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead all aspects of machine reliability, engineering projects, team development, and operational performance across a 24/7 production environment. This is a high-impact role with full ownership over machine safety, uptime, output, and budget management. You’ll lead a skilled maintenance team while collaborating across functions to meet production goals and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee equipment safety, reliability, and output within your assigned business area Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing hands-on support, coaching, and performance management Own key maintenance and engineering metrics including

MTTR, MTBF, PM

scheduling and completion, and rebuilds Plan and manage new line installations, equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting activities Monitor and control departmental costs, including labor, materials, and capital spending Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve reliability Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and waste management policies Support production by maintaining clean, safe, and organized workspaces Administer timecards, training, schedules, and disciplinary processes for your team Lead both long-term planning and daily execution to meet strategic and operational goals Adapt your schedule as needed to ensure 24/7 support for your area

Qualifications:
Required:

4+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience with maintenance operations, team leadership, and performance metrics (MTTR, MTBF, PM completion) Demonstrated ability to install, commission, and troubleshoot equipment (electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical) Budget and P&L management experience Intermediate proficiency in computer systems and basic math Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet 12-hour shift requirements Maintain consistent, punctual attendance and work well under pressure

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline Flexographic printing press experience Experience with Continuous Improvement and TPM practices Bilingual in

English and Spanish Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and variable temperatures Stand for extended shifts (12 hours) Lift up to 50 lbs Use tools and operate machines with precision Reasonable accommodations will be provided where needed
