Pay:

$80000 per year – $85000 per year At Great Wolf, theAssistant Director of Engineering supervises maintenance operationsand physical condition of the facility to ensure the highestquality standards of guest satisfaction within the allotted budget.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Meets maintenance operationalstandards by contributing maintenance information to strategicplans and review; implementing production, productivity, quality,and customer-service standards; resolving problems Evaluatesfunctionality and reliability of facility systems and associatedequipment by conferring with operating departments; identifyingproblems and requirements Maintains function and reliability offacility systems and associated equipment by implementing apreventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems andequipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty orinoperative components and parts Improves function and reliabilityof facility systems and associated equipment by studyingperformance results; identifying, recommending, and implementingchanges, expansions, and additions Perform supervisoryresponsibilities by selecting, training, scheduling, coaching andcounseling with disciplinary measures, as necessary Evaluateperformance of the team and recommending compensation actionsMaintains safe and healthy work environment by following standardsand procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations Updatesjob knowledge by participating in educational opportunities,staying up to date with the industry Accomplishes maintenance andorganization mission by completing related results as needed BasicQualifications & Skills Associate’s degree or equivalent experience5 years experience with hands-on equipment maintenance; mustinclude experience with solving electronics failures, using suchtools as test clips for device packages along with grabbers, SMDtweezers, probes, and insertion/extraction tools 3 years experiencewith supervising work for a team of technically skilled individualsDesired Qualifications & Traits Plumbing License, Certified Pool &Spa (CPO) License, Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) CertifiedPrevious experience in leadership role in resort/waterpark settingAble to develop, implement, and monitor programs that adhere to allappropriate regulations, including: Ergonomics, Emergency Response,Injury and Illness Prevention, and Hazard Communications Excellentpeople management skills including resolving conflict, coaching anddeveloping others, promoting teamwork, and performance managementPhysical Requirements Able to lift up to 15 lbs Able to bend,stretch, and twist Able to sit or stand for long periods of timeAble to climb multiple flights of stairs on daily basis and walkfrequently

Estimated Salary Range:

$80000 per year – $85000 peryear annual base salary An employee’s pay position within thesalary range will be based on several factors, including, but notlimited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications,experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance,travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractualagreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listedis just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy,and other perks.
