HTI is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a high-speed packaging and manufacturing facility in the Greenville, SC area. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity with a strong benefits package, a clean and climate-controlled facility, and a culture built on teamwork, leadership, and reliability.
You’ll join a skilled team supporting daily production by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing equipment. Ideal candidates bring multi-craft experience (both electrical and mechanical), take pride in their work, and want to lead by example on the floor.
Shift Structure:
Training Period:
1st Shift (several months for onboarding and ramp-up)
Permanent Shift:
2nd Shift | Monday-Friday
Shift Differential:
Additional $1.75/hour once on 2nd shift
Compensation & Perks:
Pay Range:
$33.00 – $40.00+/hour based on experience
Shift Differential:
+$1.75/hour (2nd shift)

Job Responsibilities:
Set up, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and conveyor systems
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment testing
Support facility systems including HVAC and utilities
Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and PLC ladder logic
Train and mentor less experienced technicians
Suggest improvements for reliability and scrap reduction
Participate in maintenance metric analysis and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
Familiarity with PLC systems and ability to read electrical schematics
Hands-on experience with conveyors, motors, drives, and HVAC systems
Self-starter with a team-first mindset
Ability to work flexible hours based on production needs
Must provide own tools
