Extrusion Overview:

An established manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage a skilled maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of production equipment, utility systems, and facility grounds. This role plays a key part in the senior management team and drives continuous improvement through strategic planning and preventive maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise maintenance personnel in daily operations and project planning Oversee repair, fabrication, and modification of equipment for efficiency and safety Drive preventive maintenance strategies in collaboration with engineering Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and performance improvement Review and coordinate new equipment needs with design/engineering Champion cost-saving measures and effective labor/material utilization Maintain accountability for team performance, training, and development Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience (10-15 years) considered 5+ years of experience in extrusion or similar process environment required 3-5 years of leadership/supervisory experience Strong problem-solving, communication, and management skills
