Industrial Service/Install Technician Optimum Air Solutions Plaquemines Parish, LA Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining HVAC systems, including air conditioning systems, in Plaquemines Parish. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read and interpret schematics, perform equipment repairs, and ensure optimal performance of heating and cooling systems. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in industrial companies. Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other HVAC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system layouts. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any HVAC-related concerns promptly. Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in property maintenance or equipment repair for a minimum of 5+ years. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning. Ability to read and understand schematics and technical manuals. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred but not required. TWIC and EPA certifications are mandatory.
