Lohnpack is a leading contract packager of specialty adhesives, serving customers across a wide range of industries. We are seeking a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packaging Equipment Setup Technician .

Position Summary:

This hands-on role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated and semi-automated packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and change over filling and packaging machines Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs Disassemble and clean equipment/tooling as needed Operate a range of equipment (fillers, presses, labelers, inkjet printers, case sealers) Monitor product quality using basic measuring tools (scale, depth gauge, etc.) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Meet or exceed production goals while minimizing waste Follow all safety procedures and use required

PPE Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to follow written instructions and work independently Experience using hand and power tools safely Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to apply 50 lbs. of force when using tools Willingness to work overtime when required

Preferred:
