Job Summary:
As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and optimize machine performance. You will work closely with the production team, engineers, and other technicians to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:

Machine Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machine components. •
Troubleshooting:
Identify and diagnose mechanical issues and malfunctions in machinery, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and your knowledge of machine operations. •
Repairs:
Repair or replace faulty machine parts and components, such as motors, belts, gears, and bearings, to restore equipment functionality. •
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime, including inspecting and replacing parts before they fail and performing regular equipment checks. •
Calibration and Testing:
Calibrate machines to ensure accuracy and precision, and conduct performance tests to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. •
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on each machine, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation. •
Safety Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and procedures, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. •
Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues, suggest improvements, and implement modifications to enhance machine performance. •
Training and Support:
Provide training and guidance to machine operators and other personnel on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safe practices. •
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements, suggesting modifications or upgrades to machinery or maintenance procedures.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is typically required, and additional technical training or certification in machine maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience as a machine technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. •
Mechanical Aptitude:
Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of various types of industrial machinery, including their components, operation, and maintenance requirements. •
Troubleshooting Skills:
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, employing logical and systematic troubleshooting methods. •
Technical Competence:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment. • Attention to

Meticulousness in conducting inspections, performing repairs, and maintaining accurate records. Precision in following maintenance schedules and procedures. •
