Responsibilities:
Maintain all commercial kitchen, commercial refrigeration, beverage and fuel dispensing equipment and facilities. Maintain a professional working relationship with the store team and customers. Work efficiently using good routing and time management skills to quickly prioritize repairs. Ensure all work orders are resolved within the predetermined time frame. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment according to established safety procedures. Maintain the proper mechanical ability needed to safely address work orders based on technician trade assignment. Ensure all applicable administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately. Attend and participate meetings, training classes, tech rides, and other resources to maintain and improve technical proficiency.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a reputable refrigeration school or successful completion of Apprenticeship Program Mechanical aptitude including a basic knowledge of (HVACR) systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, painting, and plumbing. Minimum 2 years refrigeration systems experience with EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal certification is required. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair general equipment. Ability to efficiently route and prioritize work orders daily. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours which can include overnights, holidays, and weekends. Valid driver’s license with good driving history.
