Job Description
Passenger Service Technician Harrisburg, PA • General Labor
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Inspect and test vehicles. Complete preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters. + Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; and replacing parts and components. + Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. + Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. + Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs. + Keep shop equipment operational by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs. + Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. + Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. + Keep a clean service area.

EDUCATION
+ High School Degree or
GED. REQUIREMENTS
+ Minimum age of 18. + Valid driver’s license. + State Inspection license is helpful but not required. + Must have own tools.
