Summary The incumbent is responsible for the product assembly, in-home customer evaluation and training, product delivery and installation and service. In cases where the assistant technician completes a job independent of the lead technician, they will receive a 5% commission on the job’s net profit. This will be applied at the discretion of the program director and will follow Finance commission quarterly payment schedule . Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used by individuals with disabilities. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently before returning it to users. Collaborate with team members to assess service needs and prioritize tasks effectively. Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping purposes. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and addressing their concerns. Requirements Daily delivery and service of all DME products to customers within the coverage area of the distribution center. Perform necessary adjustments to the products to meet customers’ needs; identify issues, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance Have the ability to perform a needs assessment of the home environment, customers’ physical capabilities and vehicle to recommend products and accessories and initiate sales transactions when needed. Ensure all paperwork is signed and processed correctly 1. Provide demonstration and training to all customers on the daily use of equipment Adhere to all federal, state and local requirements such as ACHC, HIPAA, OSHA, etc. 1. Ensure all safety and general maintenance procedures on company vehicles and facilities are adhered to and completed, including keeping workspace, vehicles and facilities neatly maintained. Other work-related duties as assigned.
