Service Technician 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Myrtle Beach, SC Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in “hot-side” equipment repair. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various cooking and baking equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical systems. Perform repairs on various equipment including fryers, rotisseries, rack ovens, proofers etc. to ensure proper operation. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and manometers for electrical testing and diagnostics. Drive company vehicles to service locations, ensuring timely arrival and professional conduct. Collaborate with store managers to design effective solutions for complex technical problems. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the mechanical field. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in “hot-side” equipment. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
