Job Summary:
Repair, replace and install roofs on residential houses and commercial businesses. They inspect roofs to ensure there are no leaks or any damage that might cause leaks in the future.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Comfortable working on ladders and roofs. Inspect roofs to determine the best repair or replacement procedures. Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems. Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas. Install insulation and vapor barriers. Ensure roofing projects are completed on time and within budget. Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment. Communicate with clients to understand their roofing needs and provide solutions. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Work with other team members to complete projects efficiently. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Identify and address any potential roofing issues before they become major problems. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Perform routine maintenance on existing roofs. Remove debris and clean up job sites after completing roofing projects. Maintain clean, neat, and professional appearance. Maintain a clear, neat and professional workspace.
