Telecommunication Ground Hand 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Lawrence, MA 01843 Buckley Cable Construction is looking to hire a Ground Hand in West Hartford Connecticut. All applicants must be able to push/pull or lift up to 50 pounds. We will train all skills necessary to perform this position. Duties & Responsibilities To perform tasks associated with the construction, maintenance and/or repair of aerial cable, television systems, phone, and internet. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers. Take directions from supervisor, work well independently or in collaboration with crew. Perform routine construction related activities such as carrying equipment, climbing ladders, using hand tools, manual digging, general clean up, ect. Able to drive and operate bucket truck and other related equipment. Able to flag and direct traffic as needed. Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks. Other responsibilities as directed by Supervision. Benefits Pay Rate is $12.00 – $17.00 an hour based on experience We offer medical, dental insurance and a 401(k) plan. Paid Holidays & Vacation (PTO)
