Job Description CNC Machine Operator for a well establishedlocal company. Entry level applicants considered. As a CNCMachinist, you will produce machined parts by programming, settingup, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, or bysetting up and operating a manual machine. Your specific duties inthis role will include: Planning machining by studying work orders,blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and otherresources, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances(GD&T) Verifying machine settings by measuring positions andmaking first-run parts, and sample work pieces including but notlimited to calipers, micrometer and height gage. Adhering tointernational standards Maintaining specifications and adjustingand reprogramming controls Sharpening and replacing worn tools;adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes Maintainingsafe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsMaintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenancerequirements, troubleshooting malfunctions and requisitioningrepairs Maintaining a clean and safe work area Keen eye for detaila must Work Experience Minimum 1 years’ experience setting up andoperating CNC machinery. Entry level for the right candidate .Ability to set up and operate manual and CNC Turrets and/or LathesProficiency in the use of precision measuring tools with a keen eyefor detail Ability to work from blueprints, rough sketches andcustomer samples; comfortable working in a fast paced environmentAbility to work at a quick and steady pace with a sense of urgencyAbility to pass background check and drug screen Benefits GreatBenefits with a well established family owned company.
