Experienced CNC Tool Cutter & Grinder for 2nd Shift The company is a global leader in metal cutting tool technology known for problem solving and innovation. As they enter a new phase of expansion, they are seeking skilled machinists for operating close-tolerance CNC grinding equipment to produce small quantity, special order round cutting tools in a clean, climate-controlled environment. The Experienced CNC Tool Cutter & Grinder will be responsible for utilizing CNC machines for performing precision cutting and grinding of carbide cutting tools and making or modifying cutting tools from blueprints or written instructions. Anca, Rolomatic and/or Numroto, Walter, Reinecker machine experience preferred. Responsibilities and Duties Set up and operate all departmental grinding equipment to make/modify standard and specialty carbide tools. Inspect and measure work pieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications. Perform basic maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating machine parts. Select appropriate grinding wheel based on shape and grade. Dress grinding wheels according to specifications. Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur. Program CNC Grinders. Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors, problems or defects. Qualifications and Skills At least 3 years of experience operating CNC metal-working and grinding machinery. Able to read blueprints. Use of inspection equipment and precise measuring tools. Accurately follow written and verbal instructions. Able to communicate and cooperate with supervisors and peers. High school diploma or equivalent required with some college or trade schoolwork preferred. Experience writing and/or modifying CNC programs preferred.
Job Schedule:
Full-time; 40 hours per week with overtime as needed 2nd shift

- 10PM Monday to Thursday; 1:30PM

$30.00
- $40.
