The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and meets quality standards. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and press brake machines, to fabricate parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to determine machining operations required. Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure precision in production. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including knowledge of programming techniques. Experience with stamping presses and fabrication processes is highly desirable. Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to understand CAD designs. Familiarity with using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
