Production Manager/Engineering Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision parts using various CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers). This position involves working closely with machinists, engineers, and quality control teams to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using multiple Catia Interfaces (V5,V6)
- Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to ensure accurate production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for production.
- Conduct test runs and adjust programs to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Work with machinists and engineers to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programming changes and machine setups.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in CNC machining or manufacturing technology preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC programming and machine setup.
- Proficiency with G-code, M-code, and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Solid understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
