Senior CNC Programmer Sigro Precision West Babylon, NY 11704 CNC Programmer Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machining and programming, with the ability to create precise and efficient programs for multi tasking lathes. This role requires attention to detail, and knowledge of turning and milling. Duties Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-tasking lathes and machining centers. Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to create detailed machining instructions. Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality control and assurance of machined parts. Fabricate tooling and fixtures as necessary to support production needs. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards in programming and inspection processes. Work in a fast paced environment. Experience Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code). Strong hands on knowledge with experience in tooling, setup, inspection and operation. Experience with Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret prints, and technical documents effectively. 10 years experience in a precision machining and knowledge of hydraulic components is highly desirable.
