Painter Conner Brothers Machine Co., Inc 3200 Bessemer City Road, Bessemer City, NC 28016 Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and the ability to work with a variety of materials. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired finishes. Fabricate and weld components as necessary for specific projects. Utilize power tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in work. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Perform auto body repair tasks when required, ensuring a seamless finish on vehicles. Operate forklifts for moving materials and supplies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks. Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is advantageous. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to painting and fabrication.
