Job Description

Location:
Lebanon, Tennessee Shift:

1st

  • Monday
  • Thursday, 6:00am
  • 4:30pm (4 day/10-hour work schedule) Purpose of Position Apply fiberglass materials to products using spray equipment
Key Duties Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and protective clothing.

Surface Preparation:

Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for fiberglass application to ensure proper adhesion and a smooth finish.

Mixing Materials:

Accurately mix resins, catalysts, and other materials according to specified ratios and manufacturer guidelines.

Spraying Fiberglass:

Operate and maintain spray equipment to apply fiberglass materials evenly and effectively onto molds or surfaces.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished surfaces for defects and perform necessary touch-ups or repairs to ensure a high-quality finish. Assures technical specification of coating is met.

Equipment Maintenance:

Regularly clean and maintain spraying equipment, including spray guns, hoses, and compressors, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including material usage, equipment maintenance, and quality checks.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve issues related to equipment, materials, or application techniques that may affect the quality or efficiency of the fiberglass spraying process. Work closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet production deadlines.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Technical Skills:
