Production Environment Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Electrician with experience in a production or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running electrical systems using pre-installed components and infrastructure. This role involves ensuring all electrical work aligns with safety standards, operational requirements, and production goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- install, run, and maintain electrical wiring and systems using pre-installed electrical components.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed to maintain production flow.
- Perform inspections to identify potential issues and make proactive repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain clear documentation of work performed, including wiring changes or system updates.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
2+ years’ experience in industrial wiring or equivalent Drug screen required Must know how to read tape measure, blue prints, and electrical schematics Must be willing to work overtime when required Must be able to work in a team with others Must be able to follow instructions Experience with power and hand tools a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and fumes Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges, and congested working areas Will be pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping, and lifting up to 50 pounds 1st shift is 5:30am – 2pm OT is mandatory Pay depends on experience $15.00 – $15.50 per hour Temp to hire opportunity Dress code is long pants, steel toe shoe or steel toe boots About Penmac Staffing Penmac Staffing helps companies find qualified, reliable workers for excellent job opportunities.
