Job Description Responsibilities :

• Ability to identify and place electronic/mechanical components
• Skilled in soldering and reworking SMT and through-hole components to

IPC/J-STD

standards

• Experience inspecting PCBs and documenting assembly results
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues
• Maintains and repairs tools/equipment and ensures a clean, safe workspace
• J-STD-001 and

IPC 610/620

certification required or highly preferred

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication
• Proficient with hand tools (soldering iron, pliers, cutters, screwdrivers)
• Computer literate and able to work with documentation systems Desired Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of soldering or electromechanical PCB assembly experience
• Familiarity with component ID (resistor color codes, hardware)
• Able to interpret blueprints, drawings, and process documentation
• Current IPC and J-STD certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain via in-house training)
• Knowledge of SMT assembly and rework techniques
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
