Job Responsibilities
As a member of the Services Division, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations. You will test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will also use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. You will be required to identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair them as necessary. Team members may assist less experienced team members with knowledge and expertise.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
3-5 years in custom build shop preferred
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Ability to operate a computer to read and input data
Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices
Ability to read and interpret 3D prints/schematics to complete standard work
Behavioral Attributes:
Ability to communicate effectively to team members and management
Ability to hold themselves accountable for results
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems

What will your typical day look like?
Read and follow standard work, BOM’s, blueprints, routings, specifications, and other diagrams/instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and timely
Obtain necessary tools and equipment
Handle material, tools, and equipment manually or with jib crane, performing own hitching as required
Follow piping diagrams or other instructions to connect hydraulic/pneumatic hosing or piping accurately and timely
Maintain high-quality standards
Consistently maintain level of productivity as determined by management
Spray paint parts as required
Layout, cut, and fit parts as required to weld in place
Prepare machinery for shipping
Rebuild machinery and clean, repair, disassemble, reassemble, and adjust machine as necessary
Wiring Principal Duties:
Follow wiring diagrams/schematics to connect electrical cabling accurately and timely
Perform wiring sequence for point-to-point direct or harness wiring
Wire mounting panels and junction boxes per documentation/instructions
Create or re-wire harnesses and cables per documentation
General Duties:
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
Ability to fabricate small components
Complete production and quality assurance forms
Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions
Interface with engineering to accurately communicate information
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities or events as required
Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements
5S activities
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
Physical Demands
Employee is required to wear appropriate PPE such as steel toe boots and safety glasses
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders, and climb
Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
